"The Business Bishop"  is birthed out of Revelations 11:15-18
“Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, saying: “ We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.  The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,  And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”


Bishop Bates " The Business Bishop"  is about educating  of Christian Leaders who are ministering to the body of Christ and at the same time are engaged in business activities.   "The Business Bishop"  aims to support and encouraging gospel ministers to recognize the power of their influence over communities, in to use that power to position themselves economically within in the Kingdom with business projects beyond the norm within the church setting. The world is saturated with goods and services that Christians all over the world are buying.   However, these goods and services represent little ownership by recognizable Christian leaders.   As a Christian leader or Christian Minister, the world is waiting for you to take your kingdom position

During the recession many churches are suffering due to decreased tithes and offerings.  In addition many members are losing their homes and jobs. The church has to be a conduit for economic development and Ministering to the "WHOLE PERSON". Bishop Bates "The Business Bishop" assists Business Leaders and Ministers through the Association of Black Churches of America to develop businesses for the church to diversify their revenue while providing jobs for the congregations.  This premise is truly KINGDOM BUILDING and Faith Based Economic Development.

Bishop Bates " The Business Bishop" had an early exposure to business. At a very young age he was instrumental in negotiating contracts for the World Famous and Greatest Gospel Singer Rev. Cleophus Robinson. From there he led a career in the banking and finance industry by having his own financial consulting firm and being on the Board of Directors of Bank. His financial background allowed him to develop an inner city mini mall and community center. After which, his real estate development experience allowed him to be on the National Board of the Southern Leadership Conference where he implemented business and economic development strategies. He has consulted churches nationwide in their business ministry and has been a founder along with other major Christian Businessmen to assist in creating a Business Ministry for congregations worldwide!
